In this 24-hour cycle, your wood will reach an internal temperature of 133 degrees as recommended by the USDA. Research shows that this temperature kills bugs and their larvae.

We will provide you with certification that the wood inside our kiln meets the USDA requirements for a bug kill, giving you the peace of mind to turn the wood into something beautiful or the ability to sell your slab to another maker.
